Main causes and improvement methods of bend quality degradation:
1. In pure bending, the outer side is thinned by tensile stress and the inner side is thickened by compressive stress. The change of thickness and internal stress reduce the quality of pipe fittings.
2. Therefore, it is beneficial to use the rotary bending method for the bending of thin-walled pipes.
3. The lubrication during bending will also affect the quality of bending. There are mainly oil-based and water-based elbow grease to increase lubrication. Due to the pollution of oil-based elbow grease, the subsequent cleaning process will increase the cost. Water based does not have this problem.
